Christmas Trip

•December 12, 2009 • Leave a Comment

We have made it a tradition for the past few years to cut out own Christmas tree. Recently we have been going to the same place with tens of acres of trees almost as far as the eye can see. To get to the trees though you need to take a hay ride to the cutting field. This year Santa was driving one of the tractors. Our son at 2-1/2 really was excited to see the jolly old elf!

I think you will be seeing a ton of this guy in my photos. Right now his favorite thing to say is “what doing?” This was taken during the golden hour!

I firmly belive that when you get a new camera, the first images taken on it should be some flowers, season permitting. The reason being the details and the quality of bokeh will be shown; plus flowers are always a nice subject. Here is one of several flowers that I took using my new Canon t1i. I do belive this is from a flowering crab tree, but I really don’t know. So far so good!

Well, if you are reading this, you are viewing my new photo blog which is companion to my main blog, bauterdesign.com. There will be very little commentary on here except for images that I have created, and other photography information that I feel compelled to share with you. In most cases the photos will be refined using Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Lightroom. Thanks for visiting and check in to see my photgraphy.
